Tony Perry's excellent adventure

Wednesday, December 11, 2002:

There's so much to talk about...
First of all, I caught a bad cold right before thanksgiving. that left me more than a little hoarse for the Sierra Madre gig and the Thanksgiving day performance of Jingle Bell Rock. Somehow, I made it through those shows. THen came black friday -- can we call it "Brown Friday"? -- and Jennifer and I did a whirlwind tour of stores first thing in the morning. I still managed to make it back to bed by 10:30 a.m.!

Then we went into technical rehearsals for the Christmas kids show. And in the middle of that week, Kevin and I played a gig at Craigins, and then we had a snow storm and I was snowed in at my mom's house. So we did our first rehearsal with mics and all the props and costumes at 8 a.m. on friday, and the first show was at 10 a.m.!

This past Monday, we did two shows, and it was fun, except for a couple of older kids who decided to trip one of the actors as he was running off stage. Totally not cool.
