Tony Perry's excellent adventure Tuesday, July 31, 2001: Yesterday was the last home game of the season for the Harrisburg Senators. I sang the national anthem. And I'll admit this, it went well. Several people said they loved it, including several team members. Not that it did them any good. They lost 6-0. Then i spent some quality time trying to track down a copy of Sweet Thing by Rufus featuring Chaka Khan so we can learn it for a party we're playing this weekend. Not the easiest thing to do. I passed on the soundtrack to "Love and Basketball" and instead bought some Time Life three disc box set of soul music. Not a bad purchase at all.
